Gullivers World Trip 2025
Our first residential trip with Cubs and Beavers to Gullivers World in Warrington, at the start of October half-term was a rip roaring success. Our dedicated Volunteers took 25 Young People across the two sections for a treat weekend to kick off the school Halloween break and we had a trip to remember, with the Land of Lights trail, Scooter Safari around the park and two afternoons of theme park rides to enjoy.
The event kicked off on Saturday 25th October with Cubs and Beavers setting off for Warrington in two minibuses and a car full of treats and goodies to keep all bellies full! We arrived on site to check into our accommodation, Gully’s House, for their first afternoon of rides on the park, before a Halloween show and Land of Lights trail, marshmallow roasting and finished off with a movie back in the house before lights out.
Leaders got an early wake up call by eager Beavers and Cubs on Sunday morning, breakfast was eaten and then began our Scooter Safari and MORE rides on the park. We invested a new Cub on the carousel and two Cubs jumped the Jungle line to Scouts, cheered on by their Pack and then we piled back on the buses for the tiring trip back to Staffordshire. What a weekend of memories we made and ready to do it all again next year!
