Welcome to 2nd Cheadle Scout Group

At 2nd Cheadle (Moorlands), we are dedicated to fostering adventure, skill development, and lifelong friendships among young people. As part of the global Scouting movement, we offer a diverse range of activities designed to inspire and challenge children and young adults aged 6 to 14. Whether your child is a Beaver, Cub, or Scout, there’s always something exciting happening at our group.

Beavers (Ages 6-8)

Our Beavers program is all about fun and friendship. Through a variety of hands-on activities, including games, crafts, and nature exploration, Beavers develop confidence and a love for the outdoors. Every meeting is an adventure, building essential skills and encouraging creativity and teamwork.

Cubs (Ages 8-10½)

For our Cubs, the world is full of opportunities to learn and grow. The Cubs program focuses on helping young people develop a sense of independence and responsibility. From camping trips and hikes to science experiments and community service projects, Cubs are constantly engaged in new and exciting challenges.

Scouts (Ages 10½-14)

Our Scouts are encouraged to take on more complex and rewarding activities, pushing the boundaries of their comfort zones. The Scouts program emphasizes leadership, survival skills, and community involvement. Scouts participate in a wide array of adventures, from overnight camps and expeditions to pioneering and environmental projects, all while earning badges and awards that recognize their achievements.
